Zante - family of 4 self catering August

So the cheapest so far on my search is £444pp on teletext holidays staying at Laganas in the Dimis Complex.

Criteria - 2 adults - 2 children aged 6 and 8 - self catering basis - No specific location on Zante specified.

So off to holidaywatchdog and we find as per normal varies reviews but mainly it seems this is more catered for 18-30 and thus may or may not be suitable for the yound children. A common thread though with the reviews seems to be how dirty the rooms are!!!!

It is 700 metres from the beach and quite a way from the strip. The latter could be important since this may also mean the lack of local eating establishements in the immediate area.

Next port of call is Olympic Holidays 

Using the same criteria we get flights from Manchester and staying in Panos Studios, Alykes, Zante

The holiday price is around £430 per person for the cheapest deal. Airport transfers are also included.

No reviews found on this resort so far so cannot speculate on how the holiday would pan out.
